Lille's annual International Short Film Festival, organised by the Rencontres Audiovisuelles, is France's premier event for animation, cinema and video. Screenings and installations take place at the Theatre Sebastopol and the Palais des Beaux-Arts.
The 100 best short films of the year are screened over six days and an international judging panel then decides the top 12 winners. A full programme is published on the festival website as soon as it is available.
