The annual Festival Occitània sees more than 300 artists present 50 different cultural events throughout autumn. The huge roster includes performers from Greece and the Middle East, as Toulouse becomes a nesting place for culture vultures from near and far.
The programme is simply too vast to cover in detail here but as an indication of what to expect, the featured arts include poetry, cinema, dance, theatre, painting, photography, comedy, debates and, last but not least, music.
