Every year the city of Toulouse organises the Printemps de Septembre, a festival of art that falls into many different genres, and is completely free. The curators utilise an impressive roster of artists, representing a wide span of generations.
The exhibitions are based all around the city, with special lighting adorning the streets and special Soirées Nomades (Nomadic Nights) too. The main exhibitions take place in all of the city's prestigious sites, including the Musée des Abattoirs, the Galerie du Château-d'Eau, the Musée de la Médecine and the Goethe Institut.
The programme is so vast and the details of each exhibition so expansive that it is best to visit the Printemps de Septembre website for more information.
