More than 30 museums and galleries in Lausanne open all night during this annual event. Buy the 100% silk Night of the Museums yellow and white tie; it gives you access to all the participating venues.
Each museum and gallery stages special events for the occasion and an ephemeral museum is set up in an original venue (last year's was in a tunnel of the Montbenon parking garage). Here, bars, exhibitions, installations, video and concerts last until the early hours of the next morning.
