The popular French Winegrowers and Farmers Fair is held at Marseille's Parc Chanot exhibition centre. It attracts around 25,000 enthusiasts with its display of fine wine and farm-made foods (chocolate, honey, foie gras, saucissons...) from all the French regions.
The key attraction (in addition to on-site tasting) is the direct contact with the 180 food and wine producers present, and the chance to buy high-quality products at very reasonable prices.
