The Mediterranean port city of Cartagena presents La Mar de Músicas (Sea of Music) festival, a month of top international music performances. The programme is themed around a different country each year.
Since the event started in 1995 it has become renowned as one of the best festivals of global sounds in Europe. The theme for 2009 is Morocco. The Sea of Music Festival website publishes full details of the programme as soon as they are available.
