The Atlanta Dogwood Festival invites the people of Atlanta Georgia to celebrate the joys of spring in Piedmont Park with music, crafts, a disc dog competition and plenty of blooming dogwood trees.
Atlanta Dogwood Festival is known for its live music, often from artists who have gone on to achieve national renown. Three stages are the setting for over 50 bands during the weekend of fun.
Also included on the Atlanta Dogwood Festival's bill is the annual Disc-Dog Southern Nationals, where dogs chase, jump and catch flying frisbees.
