The bustling walled city of Dubrovnik presents its annual summer festival. A dramatic opening ceremony with fireworks and music is followed by theatre, concerts, opera and dance productions on a series of open-air stages throughout this fascinating city.
The musical part of the festival was initially imagined as a showcase for the best domestic composers, soloists and orchestras, but today it has grown to become a real review of top solo artists and ensembles from all round the world. Opera, ballet and dance are also welcome visitors.
