If the kids get tired of trooping around Antwerp's sights, revive their spirits with a visit to the Winterfoor, the city's winter funfair. With its vintage carousel and other retro rides, parents and grandparents will want to join in, too.
The Winterfoor Funfair offers the usual winning combination of carnival rides, sweet and savoury snacks, including that special Belgian funfair treat - smoutebollen (balls of deep-fried dough generously sprinkled with caster sugar). Try them, they're delicious!
