Bringing the best in local and international choreographic talent to Nottingham, nottdance is an annual festival which aims to challenge the limitations of dance and to push to the extremes the possibilities of movement and choreography.
It takes place across a number of city venues, many of which are small enough to allow for a closer relationship between performer and audience. In previous years American and British participants in the festival have included the Deborah Hay Company, Goat Island, Adrian Howells and The Choreographic Lab (amongst many others). There has also been a respectable selection of some of continental Europe's best talents, Alain Buffard (France), Thomas Lehmen (Germany) and ZOO / Thomas Hauert (Switzerland/Belgium).
