The joie de vivre of Montreal is never expressed better than during Canada's premier winter festival, the Fête des Neiges de Montréal. Held in the Parc Jean-Drapeau, the event encourages everyone to have fun in the snow...
In winter, Montreal is under a perpetual blanket of snow, so why not make the most of it? Celebrating the white stuff in all its splendour, the Snow Festival is the perfect opportunity to poke your head above ground.

The fun includes a competition for the world record for speed in ice sculpting, dog sledding circuits for children and professionally certified ice climbers, who teach the public how to scale ice towers .

The festival runs over three consecutive weekends, with selected events during the intervening weeks.
Event details can change.
