The park boasts a spectacular array of wild rides: from the dizzying Voodoo, which flips riders head-over-heels at 40 miles an hour, to the classic wooden roller coaster Roar. Medusa is the tallest, fastest, longest and most technologically advanced roller coaster in Northern California. With a unique floorless design, it gives riders the sensation of flying as it carries them at speeds of up to 65mph over 4000 feet of track, including a series of stomach-churning loops nicknamed the Sea Serpent.

Other thrills are provided by live shows featuring Marineland's magnificent creatures, from sea lions and dolphins to the dramatic orca killer whale - be warned, though, that if you sit too close in this last show you'll get drenched as the whale leaps into the air and splashes back down again! Speaking of getting wet, Monsoon Falls and White Water Safari are rides which are also likely to splash their riders more than a little.

Add to this the Looney Tunes Seaport (designed specifically for younger kids) and it's clear that there's something on offer for everyone here at one of Six Flags' most unique parks. Recent additions to the park's attractions include the Wile E Coyote Canyon Blaster, a 900-foot long steel roller coaster, and the Gotham City Crime Wave.
