Legendary blues guitarist John Mayall plays at Bataclan in Paris with his band the Bluebreakers, featuring guitarist Buddy Whittington, bass player Hank Van Sickle and drummer Joe Yuele.
Mayall is renowned as a bandleader due to the fact that in the Sixties his band featured an incredible succession of talented guitarists: Eric Clapton, Peter Green and Mick Taylor, who went on to join Cream, Fleetwood Mac and The Rolling Stones, respectively.
Now an acknowledged elder statesman of British blues, Mayall has more than 50 official releases under his belt, the latest being 2007's, In the Palace of the King.
