The Belfast Wheel was installed at the end of 2007 and is now staying until the end of 2008. Located in the grounds of City Hall, visitors can hop aboard for a bird's-eye view of the city centre.
The 'Belfast Eye', as it's often called, is similar to the London Eye but smaller, measuring 60m high with 42 capsules that can carry six adults each. The trip lasts 13 minutes and there's a commentary pointing out the main attractions. You can also book a VIP capsule with champagne for those special moments.
