Basel has an international reputation for producing some of the best watches in the world. It's no surprise that the city hosts the world's finest watch and jewellery fair, Baselworld, at its exhibition centre, Messezentrum Basel.
More than 2000 watch and jewellery manufacturers from all over the world show their most striking pieces, new trends and a vast spectrum of products. The organisers expect up to 70,000 professionals from around the world to take part each year.
