The Wales Rally GB is the final round of the FIA World Rally Championship 2009. Since its inception in 1932 the Rally has become one of the UK's leading sports events.
Around 120 of the world's best rally drivers are tested to the limit at the Wales Rally GB by 17 stages of motoring over four days in south, mid and west Wales. The competitors are tested on rugged forest tracks and diverse mountain countryside.
For the first time, the 2009 Rally hosts a Service Park in Cardiff city centre, allowing spectators to get up close and personal with the drivers and teams, and to see what goes on behind the scenes of top-level motorsport.
