Paddles splash and drums roll as the people of Chester compete on the River Dee at the annual Dragon Boat Festival. Crowds gather on the riverbank to cheer them on.
The race is only 250 metres long, but the commotion makes up for the short distance! Each team is given a minimum of three timed races during the day, and the event ends with two exciting final races.
