Liverpool Music Week presents a packed programme of gigs at venues around the city including the Masque Theatre and the Liverpool Olympia Theatre. Highlights this year include Calvin Harris, Kasabian and a free show by Twisted Wheel.
Liverpool Music Week features international acts alongside up-and-coming local talent. Other names to look out for this year include The Specials and Seasick Steve - the latter's name stems from his propensity to be queasy, so should the crowd be rocking too much maybe it's best you keep your distance during his set!
As well as numerous live acts, the festival features a series of music cinema screenings and a programme of the best of Liverpool's under-18 musical talent.
