This fair at Cozumel's ancient Mayan settlement of El Cedral commemorates the Day of the Holy Cross with cattle exhibitions, rodeos and bullfights. Eat tasty local snacks and join in the traditional dances - Head of the Boar and The Ribbons.
The 3 May remembers the arrival of the island's 11 founding families, who escaped to Cozumel from the mainland during The Caste War in 1848.
