Dakka Marrakchia is a form of music consisting of polyrhythmic percussion and choral chants, celebrated in Marrakech with a special festival. Craftsmen and shopkeepers perform these rhythms as a tribute to the Sabaatou Rijal, the city's seven spiritual patrons.
