Highlights include: the double revolution Carrera marble staircase between the Hercule Gallery and the main courtyard; 16th-century frescoes attributed to Francesco Mazzuchelli; the Palatine Chapel dedicated to St John the Baptist; the dramatic Mirror Gallery; the Louis XV-style Red Room with paintings by Flemish masters; the Blue Room filled with walls of silk brocade and Grimaldi portraits and the Throne Room, with palatial Italian frescoes.
