Kick-start the New Year by grape-gobbling to the chimes of Seville's town hall bells. Hundreds of revellers gather in La Plaza Nueva on the big night to ceremonially eat 12 grapes - one for each stroke of midnight.
At the end of the chiming, the packed square erupts into singing, dancing and cheering and champagne flies everywhere. There's usually a fireworks display, and look out for the uneaten grapes which soar through the air too! Afterwards, try and slip off to one of the many fiestas in the local towns and villages.
