Occupying a deconsecrated church, the Gallerie dell'Accademia in Dorsoduro contain the world's greatest collection of Venetian art, spanning 500 years. Featured artists include the Bellinis, Tintoretto and Carpaccio. View Titiano's Pietà and Veronese's controversial Feast in the House of Levi.
The collection is chronologically displayed from the 13th to the 18th centuries, revealing the development of the city and the progression of its arts.

Due to safety reasons, entry is limited to a small number of people at a time, resulting in queues during peak hours, so plan your visit.
