Held soon after the Saint John's Bonfire, Alicante's annual Medieval Market takes over the streets and squares of the city's Old Quarter. The stalls sell local crafts and there are displays of traditional trades such as ironwork, pottery and glassmaking.
Entertainment is provided in the shape of costumed musicians, dancers, jugglers and falconers.
