As Berlin's long October evenings draw in, more than a million visitors turn out to see the city sparkle with over 50 major illuminations and firework displays during the Festival of Lights.
From the soft golds bathing tree-lined boulevard Unter den Linden to the electric blue projected onto Alexander Platz's TV Tower, the capital's famous landmarks shimmer and shine. There are illuminations on all of the major squares, towers and attractions, including the iconic Brandenburg Gate, the new Kranzler buildings and Dom Aquaree.
