Colourful kites duck and dive over Stumers Creek during the Coolum Kite Festival. Anyone can come to Coolum Beach and fly their kites, or simply watch the curious shapes that fill the sky. Kite surfers and parachutists add extra drama.
Back on land, there are craft stalls, food vendors and live music.
