Loveparade, Santiago's mammoth electronic dance music festival, returns to Chile every year. The parade, complete with banging sound systems, heads out on a route around the city, arriving at Plaza Italia in the centre of town for a huge party.
The carnival starts at midday with the floats and around 100 DJs making up a 4km-long party. Many hours of dancing later, all the party people come together at the main stage with the big name DJs spinning their tunes. All the floats connect their sound system to the main stage, so the party goes off with a bang.
There are after-hours parties too, so be prepared for a long night and get ready to feel the love...
