First held in 1988, Aarhus' International Jazz Festival is a major Scandanavian music event and continues to grow in stature. The whole city gets involved and more venues participate each year.
Stan Getz, Dizzy Gillespie and BB King are just some of the artists who have featured in the past. Highlights in 2009 include the Richard Galliano Quartet, the Abdullah Ibrahim Trio and the Joshua Redman Trio.
